The Duchess of Cambridge has visited the Emma Bridgewater pottery factory in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. She is patron of the charity East Anglia Childrens' Hospices and was at Emma Bridgewater to launch a new design of mugs which will be used for fundraising by the charity. While there she tried her hand at a few processes involved in making several of the firms celebrated ceramic products. The Duchess also met with parents and children who have been helped by the Donna Louise Trust which runs the Treetops hospice. (18th Feb 2015).
